Caution: Software Upgrade is a complicated progress, must be done by a professional.

Equipment: Computer with CD Recordable driver
Process:
1. Check the player Software version
a. Switch on the player.
b. Press ‘Setup’ button on the remote control.
c. Press ‘8-8-2-9-1-8’ button on the remote control.
d. Press the ‘Cursor-Down’ button continuously on the remote control, until the hidden menu shows and highlights, then press the ‘Cursor-Right’ button on the remote control.
d. Check the TV screen as following:
Loader : XXXXXXXX
Software : XXXXXXXX
Region Code: XXXXXXXX
2. Burn CD-R/RW disc
a. Burn the Decode software
1) Put an empty CD-R/RW disc in a computer driver.
2) The CD's ID ( label ) no need to be changed.
3) The file name no need to be changed, too.
4) Select the burn-in data format to ISO9660 and burn the file in the CD-R/RW.
b. Burn the Servo software
1) Put another empty CD-R/RW disc in a computer driver.
2) The CD's ID ( label ) no need to be changed.
3) Change the upgrade file name as: VT7208.BIN,.
Caution: A) the upgrade file name must be CAPITAL word.
B) ‘BIN’ is the extent name of the software file, means the file is a binary file.
4) Select the burn-in data format to ISO9660, Mode 2 & no multi-session, and 2X speed.
5) burn the file in the CD-R/RW.
3. Upgrade the player Decode or Servo Software
a. Put the CD-R/RW in the player.
b. If the player finds the upgrade file, it will pop a dialog to give user a tip to upgrade, press OK to upgrade the SW. TV screen shows the percentage of the progress.
c. Wait two or three minutes, for the upgrading.
Caution: Please don't switch the power off! Otherwise, the player will hang up and never switch on.
d. When the player finish upgrading, set will power off automatically. Please unplug the power cord, then plug it again. Switch on the set and take out the CD-R/RW disc.
e. Software upgrade successfully.
